What is Global Hack Week September 2023?
Global Hack Week is a week-long hacker festival. You can expect to complete challenges, hear about BIG community announcements, chat at hacker hangouts, enjoy fun live sessions, build technical projects, and make new memories.
You are in for an adventure featuring workshops, fun mini-events, challenges, panels, and more. These will help you to earn experience points no matter what level of hacking you are at, whether it’s writing your first lines of code or creating a multi-faceted project.

What is a Guild? How can I be a part of it?
One of the best parts of our community is that it allows people to meet and make connections with others, regardless of where you live. guilds are smaller communities within Major League Hacking. Whether you come in with a guild or not, you won’t be hacking alone.
Who organized Global Hack Week?
Global Hack Week is organized by Major League Hacking (MLH). It is our mission to empower hackers worldwide by providing them with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.
Requirements
Your challenge submission must be completed within the submission period.
When relevent, your code must be available in some sort of public repository.
If you're continuing work on an old project, you MUST specify in your Devpost what was worked on 1) before this day of Global Hack Week September 2023 and 2) during this day of Global Hack Week September 2023.
Prizes
Code Telephone with Replit
Peruse Replit's Community and find a project that intrigues you. Fork and remix it into something brand new! Once you're done, publish that to the Replit Community with the #MLH tag and share it with someone else. How long you can keep the chain going?
Replying to Text Messages
In Day 6, you will add responses to your web application, so it can reply to the text messages you receive.
Create a Kanban Board
Ever feel overwhelmed by the amount of tasks you need to complete? Having your own way to visualize them can help organize your tasks and increase your productivity! Create your own and make sure you add a to-do to submit it on Devpost.
Try using Bootstrap
Try incorporating Bootstrap into a website - either one you’ve already created or spin up a new one. Show it to us on the Devpost.
Use a Music API
You might listen to music while hacking, but have you built anything for your music? Try building with a music API (Spotify’s got great documentation) and submit your hack on our Devpost!
It’s All About Fintech
Fintech is growing quickly, and we know hackers are excited to explore this space. Build any finance application and show it to us on Devpost. If could help you track your expenses, analyze stock prices, or help you find the best deals online.
Redesign a Mobile App
Ever been frustrated with how an app was laid out? We want you to pick any mobile app and imagine a new layout for it. You can simply draw it out, wireframe it, or even write the code if you’d like.
